EXTENSION IN BIS CERTIFICATION (QCO ORDER) FOR CHEMICALS [EVAC, Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion, Polyester - FFDY, POY, Industrial Yarn, PSY]
On 31st March 2023, The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers issued an official Gazette for quality control order for various products, which includes Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers, Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion, Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn, Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn, Polyester Industrial Yarn, 100 Percent Polyester Spun Grey and White Yarn (PSY).
The Indian government has prioritized certain sectors to advance its Aatmanirbhar Bharatmission and has recognized the textile industry as a critical sector to achieve this goal.
As part of the efforts to promote self-reliance and increase domestic production, the government has given an extension for implementation of Quality Control Order of following products:
